
Inspired by the ventriloquist's dummy as a metaphor for uninteresting and easily manipulated individuals, the foursome explore society's dullards in a rather more entertaining fashion. The majority of the eleven tracks are anchored by a super tight drum and bass combination creating such propulsion and groove that they would be all over the dance floor if it wasn't for David Best's dead pan delivery of delightfully drab lyrics...
